Matt Foy (Ph.D., Speech Communication) is an associate professor of communication at Upper Iowa University. He earned his doctorate from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and conducts research with elements of rhetorical, cultural, and performance studies. His work has been included in The Popular Culture Studies Journal, Ohio Communication Journal, Southern Communication Journal, and Proteus: A Journal of Ideas.
